Take a step away from life, a little time for yourself and learn new techniques, relax, sample some great local foods and enjoy yourself! Come on your own or book a private workshop for you and your friends and/or family to share in.
Our Upcycling Workshops are held in our Studio in North Canterbury NZ for those locally in Canterbury and available for anyone in New Zealand. We are not far from Christchurch and for those of you from further afield there is a selection of great accommodation available locally. Contact me for further information.
Having travelled extensively learning techniques from those considered the best in the industry we can pass these skills on to you by offering lots of great options for you to explore with both scheduled and private groups.
We guide you through your project so that you achieve the best results using our quality DIY products. You leave with the confidence to use the skills you learned to create on your own!
All the materials you need are supplied for your workshops.
We hold regular painting and specialist paint technique workshops for beginners or for those who want something a little more. We also hold custom designed workshops that are tailor made to your preferences – please contact us for more details on these.

Welcome Porch Leaner, Paint & IOD Stamps Workshop
Join us for a fun day of learning some new skills and taking home your own personally custom finished 'Welcome' Porch Leaner/sign. We provide all you need including drinks and refreshments. Plus we will create an Art Block, just because we can!

Decoupage Workshop: Come and join us and learn the art of Decoupage. We will be using both our Mint and Roycyled Decoupage Paper lines and giving this wee set of drawers a new life. We provide everything you need! Image transfer and decoupage are an easy, and beautiful, way to take your furniture to the next level. On the completion of this workshop you will know how to get a great finish every time!

FlowBlue Pots - no experience necessary for this fun workshop! Paint and stamp 2 pots in the 'Blue Flow' design of old. Everything you need is supplied and you get to take 2 beautiful pots home.

Fun with Foils Workshop:Learn how to create with our large selection of Foils and our van Gogh/Mango Paint:
Join us for a fun day learning new skills using these beautiful Foils and our van Gogh/Mango Paint and Paint Finishes. Learn the many different techniques using Foils and the many different surfaces they can be used on. We will be using our Foils on metal containers, glass and a little Christmas decor just because we can!
When: Saturday 15th June 2024 from 10am - 3pm (limited numbers).

IOD Moulds, Stamps & Transfers
Come and learn all about Iron Orchid Designs Moulds, Stamps and Transfers! IOD is the best quality you can get and made with ease of use for you in mind. Find out how to make those beautiful Moulds in Air Dry Clay and Resin - how to choose which product, the art of Stamping with success and Transfers are so easy once you know how.

Memory Tile Series Workshop: Iron Orchid Design products (stamps, moulds, transfers etc) are made with quality and ease of use for you in mind. Come and learn a few tricks and styles of using these great products with me. Going home with three finished Memory Tiles ready for your wall!

Come and join me in the workshop to paint your own small piece of furniture.
This workshopis a great way to gain the skills and confidence to apply paint to any project and a great wsy to gain confidence to paint at home.
We cover the basics of furniture painting, distressing and waxing/top coats.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to finish a small project in the comfort of our studio either with a group or at a time to suit. I love having company in the workshop!
